Double Swing gates

  • We generally use Aluminium for our double swing gates, but we can also use wood. Steel can be an option but is advised against, as you need a significant amount of structural support which can be expensive.

  • Double swing gates are rather good for people with short driveways, they don’t take up a lot of room compared to single swings.

Another benefit of the double swing is its speed, half the gate space means half the time, a priority for those on main roads and busy schedules.

These gates also suit well with older style houses, like Queenslanders and Victorian styles.

  • Swing gates can be customized, with weight limitations being the biggest issue, things like Steel and hard woods have to be wisely used.

Otherwise a wide variety of powder coat colours and shapes.

We also do rising gates that can will swing backward and up to avoid hitting driveways.

  • If your making your fence first be sure to use materials that can hold a lot of sideways pull force, a steel post or a reinforce concrete wall will be sufficient, but this also depends on how wide the driveway is and what materials you wan the gate made out of.

Measuring up the site and sending us the measurements is a quick way to get a quote, you don’t have to worry about accuracy, all that’s needed is a rough value to figure out where to go when finding what suits you, We generally visit to take more accurate measurements for fabrication anyway.

  • We design our gates to be maintenance free, using machine grease and electric motors, if the gate is used appropriately they last decades.
