Centsys Smart Motors

  • Centsys smart motors come with 240V and 12/24V

    240V vs 12/24V

When deciding what voltage to chose only a few factors are to consider:

How much will the gate be used?

What distance is your gate from your parking?

Do you want solar powered gates?

240V gate motors benefits are faster charge times of the back up battery as well as a cleaner finish if you get it hard wired directly.

12/24V Is best for solar gates, where power efficiency matters, but another side benefit is its also generally more budget friendly.

    Battery Backup

These motors come with a battery backup 12V at 7.2Ah which can be upgraded with a Backup Battery Kit which supplies 2 extra batteries on top of the battery that comes with the motor.

  • Centsys has a smart feature to prevent wear and tear both on the gate and the motor its self called Soft stop/start, by slowing the motor at the end of the run cycle, Just as its about to close. The Motor will slow the motor to half speed, for the D5 that’s 300mm a minute, D10 210mm a minute, D20 150mm a minute.

  • Centsys use a variety of ways to keep they’re customers safe. features from, obstruction detection to photocell capabilities.

    Obstruction Detection

This mode stops the gate when it detects resistance with the motor, this can be adjusted to be incredibly sensitive, with the downside that wind and bushes will trigger the stop. Obstruction detection is recommended if you have small children or animals, or if you have short driveway to park in.

    Motor Lock

When the motor isn’t in use the motor will lock the gearbox preventing the gate from opening or closing without the owners permission, this is why the use of such things such as padlocks and deadbolts are unnecessary, with most modern motors.

    Photocells

Photocells are required by law in some countries, but in Australia, NewZealand, United Kingdom and the United States. These devices create a inferred beam from one to the other, when this beam is interrupted it sends a signal to the Ultima and stops the gate without the use of Obstruction detection.

  • Centsys D5, D10, D20 Smart use software on board to real-time track whether your gate is open or closed, this status can be displayed on your Centsys Wireless App.

This program prevents the gate slip from changing the gates limits over time, so no more routine checks every year.

  • Keyed Manual Release

Centsys use a keyed manual release system, to stop unwanted visitors from getting easy access once they get into the property, only downside is the key has to be safely stored, without it, the motor isn’t adjustable or changeable at all.

    Lockable Case

The case is locked up with the manual release to prevent tampering or unwanted guests opening up your property. To open the case, you’ll need to unlock the manual release door, and pull the Lever, this releases motors lock on the gate and the case lid, allowing you to slide the lid up and off.

    Tamper Notification

Centsys also can be connected to third party devices to tell you when the motor is being tampered with, it uses vibration sensors to search for un-usual movement, before sending notifications out, especially useful for those with nosey neighbours or Unsavoury wanderers.

  • We supply a 2 year warranty for these motors, with confidence that they will last long beyond that, average motor life of these specifically are 10-12 years.

  • Centsys D5, D10, D20 Smart all come with smart phone capabilities, so if you on a jog or on the couch when visitors arrive you have control of your gate at the tips of your fingers.
